MLF Donates to Children’s Hospital in Kumasi

Reaching out to the sick is one of the ministries dear to the heart of our Lord Jesus Christ. In Luke 4:18 Jesus expressed it as one of the reasons for His incarnation and earthly ministry.

“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor. "
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free.”

As an organization, we counted it joy and a privilege when on August 16th, 2019 we had the opportunity to minister to the sick at the Maternal and Child Health Hospital in Kumasi-Ghana. The hospital was established in 1910 and is located in a densely populated area in Kumasi near the Kejetia Central Market and Adum stores. It is the only hospital in Kumasi dedicated to the care of malnourished children.

It was a time of prayer, exhortation, encouragement and sharing. The team also had the opportunity to interact with parents and prayed for the sick. Many were touched and encouraged.
